3 tbsp | honey |
2 tbsp | Louisiana Hot Sauce - Sweet Heat with Honey |
2 tbsp | soy sauce |
1 tbsp | hoisin sauce |
1 tbsp | grainy Dijon mustard |
2 | cloves garlic, minced |
1 tbsp | finely chopped fresh thyme |
6 | skin-on salmon fillets (each about 5 to 6 oz) |
In small bowl, whisk together honey, hot sauce, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, mustard, garlic, and thyme; divide mixture in half. Preheat grill to medium-high heat; grease grate well. Brush half of the mixture evenly over each salmon fillet.
Place salmon fillets on grill, skin side down. Cook for 5 minutes and carefully flip each fillet with 2 spatulas. Reduce grill heat to medium. Grill for 3 to 5 minutes or until salmon is just starting to flake.
Let salmon rest for 5 minutes and peel off skin. (The skin will keep the fish moist and prevent it from sticking to the grill.) Serve salmon with remaining sauce mixture.
Tip: Serve salmon over steamed rice with squeeze lemon or over mixed greens lightly tossed with store-bought balsamic dressing spiked with The Original Louisiana Brand® Hot Sauce Sweet Heat Hot and Honey.
