These hot and sticky baked sweet potatoes will win rave reviews from the whole family. They also make a great holiday side dish.
|2½ lb||sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 2-inch chunks|
|¼ cup||lemon juice|
|2 Tbsp||The Original Louisiana Brand Hot Sauce|
|2 Tbsp||butter, melted|
|2||green onions, thinly sliced|
|4 tsp||toasted sesame seeds|
Preheat oven to 350°F. Add sweet potatoes to lightly greased 8-inch square baking dish. Stir together lemon juice, hot sauce, butter, honey, salt and pepper; toss with sweet potatoes to coat well.
Cover tightly with foil; bake for about 1 hour or until tender. Remove foil; bake for about 20 minutes or until sweet potatoes are glazed and caramelized.
Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
