1 lb | ground beef |
1 lb | bacon, cooked and crumbled |
3 can | dark red kidney beans (15.5oz), drained |
3 can | cannellini beans (15.5oz), rinsed and drained |
2 cup | your favorite barbeque sauce |
1 cup | water |
⅓ cup | Louisiana Gold Red Pepper Sauce with Tabasco Peppers |
Add the ground beef to a large stockpot over medium high heat. Use a wooden spoon to break the beef into crumbles and cook for 5 - 6 minutes. Carefully drain the grease and continue to cook for 1 - 2 more minutes.
Add the bacon, kidney beans, cannellini beans, barbeque sauce, water, and Pepper Sauce to the pot and stir to combine. Continue to cook the beans on low for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
Remove the beans from the heat and serve immediately.
Great served with Mexican Cornbread.
