This Spicy and Smoked Turkey is a flavorful masterpiece, coated with a rich butter sauce made with Louisiana Brand Hot Sauce, cayenne pepper, garlic, and other spices. Smoked to perfection, the turkey is tender, juicy, and packed with bold flavors—ideal for your next family gathering or holiday feast!

Spicy and Smoked Turkey

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 cup The Original Louisiana Brand Hot Sauce
½ cup Salted Butter
½ cup Margarine
2 tsp Minced Garlic
1 ½ tsp Crushed Red Pepper
1 tbsp Cayenne Pepper
Onion Powder
Garlic Powder
Cajun Seasoning
Italian Seasoning
Salt and Pepper

Directions

    Thoroughly clean your turkey.

    Pat your turkey dry with a paper towel and sit in a large turkey pan / baking pan.

    Pre-Heat your smoker to 300 degrees F.

    Melt your butter in a small bowl.

  • 5

    Stir in the Minced Garlic, Crushed Red Pepper, and Cayenne Pepper.

    Cover the turkey with your butter mixture.

  • 7

    On top of that even season turkey

  • 8

    Add any remaining butter mixture

  • 9

    Cover the turkey with foil (Tent Style) - Place in smoker.

Let turkey cook for about 5 hours or until falling off the bone. Remove and ENJOY!
