Made with a prepared biscuit mix, these savory muffins come together in a snap! They’re great for making ahead and having on hand for busy weekday mornings.
2 pkg | (7.4 oz) Southeastern Mills Buttermilk Biscuit Mix |
1¾ cup | shredded cheddar cheese, divided |
1 cup | milk |
½ cup | cooked bacon, chopped |
3 Tbsp | green onion, chopped |
3 Tbsp | The Original Louisiana Brand Hot Sauce |
Preheat oven to 400 F. Line 12-cup muffin pan with paper liners.
In a medium bowl, stir together biscuit mix, 1 cup of cheese, milk, bacon, green onion and The Original “Louisiana” Brand Hot Sauce™.
Divide mixture evenly among prepared muffin cups. Sprinkle remaining cheese evenly over top.
Bake for 14 to 17 minutes or until golden and tender and a tester comes out clean when inserted into center of muffins. Let cool slightly before serving.
Tip: Muffins can be made in advance and refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 5 days. Reheat in microwave or toaster oven, if desired.
