In medium heavy-bottomed saucepan set over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in flour and taco seasoning and cook, stirring frequently, for 1 to 2 minutes or until blended and lightly toasted.
Pour in cream and milk; bring to a simmer, stirring frequently, and cook for 3 to 4 minutes or until thickened. Stir in Cheddar and cream cheese until melted and incorporated. Stir in the Original “Louisiana” Brand Hot Sauce™ Garlic Lovers and transfer to serving bowl.
Serve with vegetable sticks and tortilla chips for dipping.
Tip: For added flavor and texture, stir in cooked crumbled chorizo sausage with the cream cheese in Step 2, if desired.
