⅓ cup | butter |
2 Tbsp | The Original Louisiana Brand Hot Sauce |
1 tsp | brown sugar |
½ tsp | cayenne pepper |
½ tsp | smoked paprika |
4 | boneless fried chicken breasts |
4 | soft buns, split |
1 cup | shredded lettuce |
16 slice | bread-and-butter pickles |
¼ cup | ranch dressing |
In small saucepan set over medium heat, combine butter, hot sauce, brown sugar, cayenne and smoked paprika; cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until butter is melted and brown sugar dissolves.
In large bowl, toss fried chicken with hot sauce mixture until well coated.
Assemble hot chicken in buns with lettuce, pickles and ranch dressing.
For extra-spicy chicken, add extra hot sauce to taste. Alternatively, serve hot chicken with prepared bagged coleslaw mix between slices of warm white bread. Use store-bought fried chicken or baked frozen crispy breaded chicken fillets or tenders.
