Pimento Cheese with Grilled Okra is a bold, flavorful appetizer that’s as easy as it is delicious. Creamy cheddar and tangy pimentos are blended with a kick of Southwest Jalapeño Hot Sauce, creating a rich, spicy spread. Grilled okra adds a smoky crunch, making each bite the perfect balance of creamy and crisp. Ideal for gatherings or a unique side dish, this recipe brings Southern flair to any table.

Pimento Cheese with Grilled Okra

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
8 cup cream cheese, softened
2 cup shredded cheddar cheese blend
¼ cup mayonnaise
2 Tbsp chopped pimentos, drained
1 tsp minced garlic
2 Tbsp Louisiana Hot Sauce - Southwest Jalapeno
1 pkg fresh okra (12oz), cut in half lengthwise
¼ cup vegetable oil

Directions

    Add the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and mayonnaise to the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment. Mix for 1 - 2 minutes on low speed. Add the pimentos, garlic, and Hot Sauce to the bowl and mix on low speed for 30 seconds.

    Pour the oil into a skillet over medium high heat. Place the okra, in batches, cut side down into the pan and cook for 1 minute. Carefully remove the okra to a plate and repeat with the remaining okra.

    Fill each piece of okra with the pimento cheese and serve immediately.
