If you're looking to elevate your next seafood dish, this quick and easy homemade tartar sauce is the perfect companion. With just a handful of ingredients and minimal prep time, you’ll have a bold, creamy, tangy sauce that adds just the right kick. This isn’t your average tartar sauce—it’s got attitude, thanks to the addition of hot sauce and Creole seasoning. The base starts with classic mayonnaise, giving it that rich, smooth texture we all know and love. But what sets this recipe apart is the flavorful blend of finely chopped pickles, green onions, and your favorite Louisiana-style hot sauce. The pickles add a satisfying crunch and a punch of acidity, while the green onions bring a mild sharpness that complements the creamy base beautifully. A dash of Creole seasoning rounds it all out with just the right amount of spice and depth. Whether you're serving crispy fried catfish, golden shrimp, crab cakes, or even grilled vegetables, this tartar sauce will quickly become your go-to. It also makes a fantastic dipping sauce for fries or hush puppies.
