Fried chicken meets tacos in these easy, crispy tacos! Creamy coleslaw adds a cool balance to the spicy, tangy flavors of The Original “Louisiana” Brand Hot Sauce™ Tangy Taco for a quick yet delicious dinner.

Crispy and Tangy Chicken Tacos

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
8 frozen breaded chicken fillets, prepared according to package directions
⅓ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup Louisiana Hot Sauce - Tangy Taco
2 Tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
½ tsp salt
2 cup shredded green cabbage
1 cup shredded carrots
2 green onions, thinly sliced
12 corn tortillas, warmed
1 avocado, pitted and thinly sliced
½ cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Directions

    Cut each chicken fillet into 3 even strips.

    In a large bowl, stir together mayonnaise, 2 Tbsp of The Original “Louisiana” Brand Hot Sauce™ Tangy Taco, lemon juice and salt. Toss in cabbage, carrots and green onions until coated.

    Divide chicken evenly among tortillas. Top evenly with avocado, coleslaw mixture and cilantro. Drizzle remaining The Original “Louisiana” Brand Hot Sauce™ Tangy Taco over top.

Tip: If desired, substitute chicken with fish fillets, or plant-based fillets for a vegetarian option!
