Our
Story

Pourin'
Louisiana
love

since 1928.

In the bayou, food is love. And at The Original Louisiana Hot Sauce, we've been pouring it on thick for damn near a century. We're the sauce that's passed down tables - and passed down generations - across Southern Louisiana and beyond.

We got our start in New Iberia, Louisiana in 1928, carefully crafting and obsessively taste-testing small batches of hot sauce made with peppers first, a little vinegar and dash of salt. Today, nothin's changed. Sure, we've added more varieties to turn whatever food you're eating into food for the soul, but the same care and simple ingredients are still at the heart of who we are.

Because around here, there are two things you don't mess with: an angry gator and a proven recipe.

Not just heat.
A warm welcome
to Louisiana.

Every hot sauce adds spice. But what about adding soul? Bringing flavor to food and to life? Elevating anything you eat, sip or savor? That's the magic of The Original Louisiana Hot Sauce. We've perfected the art of balancing heat and flavor to tantalize your taste buds, not torture them. So go ahead and splash friendly and boldy, and think of every open bottle as an open invitation to the bayou. That's Louisiana Hot.
